Eurooppalaisen pelialan palkinnot jaettiin eilen European Games Award -gaalassa Kölnissä.

Voittajat valikoitiin 22 kategoriassa yli 230 000 verkossa annetun äänen perusteella. Gaalan merkittävin voittaja oli puolalaisen CD Projekt REDin The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, joka voitti kaikkiaan kuusi palkintoa. Myös Battlefield 3 suoriutui mallikkaasti, voittaen parhaan toimintapelin, moninpelin ja konsolipelin palkinnot.
